A beautiful poem that Trish wrote in April 2008. I posted it on Instagram & Facebook yesterday to mark National Poetry Day - one of the many responses was from my old school English teacher, who called it “wholly beautiful”..!

It contains a reference to the optimism and hope of nature’s cycle, as a new leaf unfurls - and to the joys to be found in small, everyday experiences... 🌱☺️💖

An extract from this poem also now appears on a bench in Trish’s memory, overlooking the lake in Kew Gardens - thanks to Clare, Fred & Kath for their efforts in organising that earlier this year.
